Jim Forrest is a native of Oklahoma having grown up in the Kiamichi Mountains of Southeastern part of the state.  He is a 1989 Graduate of Mid-South Christian College of Memphis TN and has been in the Preaching Ministry for 24 years.  He has 3 children.  Brandon is a graduate of Oklahoma Christian University and he and his wife Amy live in Dallas, TX.  Jamie and Julie are both graduates of S.W.O.S.U. and live in Weatherford. 

Jim's emphasis in Ministry has a focus on preaching the Word in a way that is clear, down to earth, and encouraging, and in Ministry to families with a special emphasis on Youth.

The circle of fellowship and friendship is ever growing and widening at Cushing Christian Church.  The Lord is blessing in many exciting ways.
